Position Summary
Florida Health Science Consulting, LLC d/b/a NoCo CPR is seeking a licensed healthcare provider to join our team as a part-time CPR Instructor in Fort Collins, Colorado.
We are looking for a reliable, personable healthcare professional who enjoys teaching and helping others develop lifesaving skills.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor certification is not required. We provide instructor training for qualified candidates who are not already certified.
This position involves teaching AHA CPR and emergency response courses at our Fort Collins training center and at client locations throughout Northern Colorado.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging, hands-on AHA CPR and emergency response training to individuals and groups.
Demonstrate proper CPR, AED, and emergency response techniques while providing constructive feedback.
Prepare classrooms, training equipment, and instructional materials before each session.
Maintain accurate course records and required training documentation.
Ensure all instruction follows current AHA guidelines and course standards.
Create a positive, supportive learning environment for participants with varying experience levels.
Travel to local client locations for onsite group training as scheduled.
Represent NoCo CPR professionally and maintain a high standard of instruction.
Must hold a current, active healthcare provider license or certification , such as Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Paramedic, or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
Current BLS Provider certification or willingness to obtain it before instructor training.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable speaking in front of groups and demonstrating hands-on skills.
Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
Ability to teach at our Fort Collins training center and travel to local client locations.
Flexible availability for part-time teaching assignments, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Willingness to complete AHA Instructor training and meet all instructor requirements if not already certified.
Current AHA BLS Instructor certification (preferred but not required).
Previous teaching, training, or clinical education experience.
Experience in emergency medicine, nursing, or other healthcare settings.
Familiarity with AHA CPR and First Aid training programs.
Enthusiasm for teaching and helping others develop confidence in emergency situations.
Not currently an AHA Instructor? We can train you!
NoCo CPR is an AHA training provider and offers an instructor development pathway for qualified healthcare professionals. Selected candidates who are not currently certified will receive guidance and training to become an AHA BLS Instructor before independently teaching courses.
Compensation & SchedulePay: $35.00 per hour
Employment Type: Part-time
Schedule: Flexible, based on scheduled classes and client training requests
Location: Fort Collins, CO, with occasional travel to surrounding Northern Colorado communities
