About the Role:
Georgetown Preschool LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Chinese Teacher to join our growing team in Washington, DC! This is a wonderful opportunity to inspire young learners and make a lasting impact through language and cultural education in a nurturing preschool environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Chinese language lessons tailored to early childhood learners
• Create a warm, inclusive, and language-rich classroom environment
• Incorporate Chinese culture, songs, stories, and activities into daily curriculum
• Monitor and support each child's language development and learning progress
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support whole-child development
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom setting

Requirements:

• Associate's degree (AA) or Bachelor's degree (BA) required
• Native or fluent Mandarin Chinese speaker strongly preferred
• Prior experience teaching Chinese or working in an early childhood education setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
• Ability to create culturally engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans
