Job Description

ResMed seeks a Distribution Manager to lead site-wide operations at a distribution center in Moreno Valley, California. The role involves overseeing approximately 80 employees across two shifts, managing four Area Managers, and ensuring safe, consistent delivery of medical device products through standardized processes and cross-shift alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead distribution operations across both shifts, maintaining safety, quality, service, and delivery priorities
• Guide four Area Managers and support approximately 80 indirect employees with coaching and clear performance expectations
• Translate forecasts into practical labor plans that balance workloads, control costs, and meet customer commitments
• Oversee receipt, inventory movement, packaging, and shipment of materials and finished goods to specification
• Manage inventory controls and product traceability through WMS and Oracle systems for accountability and quality standards

Requirements

• At least 10 years of warehouse or distribution operations experience, including complex, high-volume environments
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or people-leadership experience
• Demonstrated experience implementing inventory control systems and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working knowledge of federal and local OSHA warehouse and shipping requirements
• Warehouse management system experience for inventory accuracy and operational control
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for multi-shift team alignment
