Dye Machine Operator – Day and Night Shifts
Location: Maiden, NC
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour
Schedules:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Overtime as needed
Job Summary
The Dye Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring textile dyeing equipment to ensure fabric is dyed according to production requirements and quality standards. This role involves monitoring machine settings, checking fabric color and quality, and making adjustments as needed. Textile experience is a plus, but candidates with machine operating experience who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate and monitor textile dyeing equipment during production.
Load and unload fabric and materials into dye machines as needed.
Monitor machine settings, temperatures, cycle times, and dyeing processes.
Follow production instructions to help ensure fabric meets color and quality specifications.
Inspect dyed fabric for color consistency, defects, and other quality issues.
Make routine machine adjustments as needed and report problems to the supervisor.
Handle materials and assist with moving fabric throughout the production area.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety, production, and quality procedures.
Meet production and quality expectations.
Skills and Qualifications
Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
Textile or dyeing experience is a plus but not required.
Willingness to learn and be trained on textile dyeing equipment.
Ability to follow production instructions and pay attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs., if required.
Ability to work either a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule and overtime as needed.
Steel-toed boots or shoes required. All other PPE provided by the client.
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
