We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to support a busy accounting team during tax season. This position will be responsible for preparing accurate federal and state tax returns while managing multiple client files and deadlines.Responsibilities:Prepare federal and state individual and business tax returnsReview financial statements, prior-year returns, and supporting tax documentationEnter and maintain tax information using CCH tax softwarePrepare individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate returns as applicableIdentify missing information and follow up on documentation needed to complete returnsAssist with tax research and resolve discrepanciesMaintain organized and accurate client filesWork closely with CPAs, tax managers, and accounting professionalsComplete assigned returns accurately and within established deadlines
