Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years of MS/Tele Experience License: SC or Multi State/Compact RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Position/Specialty: MS/Tele RN Shift: 3x12s, Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM Ratios: 1:5 Weekend Requirement: Yes, Every other Weekend On-call Requirement: Yes, but rare. If required, on-call is for the first 4 hours. Floating Requirement: Yes, if needed. Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics Daily Census: 10 Required Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports BiPAP/CPAP management Blood Product Administration Cardiac Telemetry Central line care and management Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI) Feeding tube care and management High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) Interpretation of dysrhythmias Isolation Precautions/PPE Management of dysrhythmias Peripheral Line Care/Management Phlebotomy PICC line management Post Cardiac Angiogram Post MI Pre/Post Cardiac Cath Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management Starting and maintaining IVs Substance Withdrawal Surgical drains Telemetry - on unit monitoring Telemetry - remote monitoring Use of Rapid Response/Code teams Wound Care/Wound Vac Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams Physical Therapy Respiratory Services Interpretation Services Phlebotomy Radiology Social Services Rapid Response Teams Pharmacy Transportation Unit Secretary
